![]() ![]() ![]() But I think you missed my point and I wanted to extrapolate. I think your experience is perfectly fine you don't have to dislike a thing just because I do. (I also hate the way the controls are set up, but this I think is a product of only having gotten swap force after trap team, so I'm more "used to" trap team controls, even though I'm sure I've played swap force more) The series is based on the book series Astroblast by author and illustrator Bob Kolar. I may be a bit too used to 3ds mechanics, because this didn't really bother me before I played those games, but I'll find myself way too often getting hit by those awful circle things the bosses do because I was attacking and I'm not allowed to jump and attack at the same time. Astroblast is an American animated science fiction childrens television series created by Bob Kolar for Sprout. The only issue I had with fighting was that one can't shoot and jump/jump while shooting. I did, a bit, but everything still looked gross and clash-y and I've decided not to play the game until I get it for a different system. The last time I played Swap Force I sat messing around with the TV settings for like five to ten minutes to see if I could get it to look better. This is not how lighting should work everything looks gooey and ethereal all the time, which would be fine if it wasn't also repulsively bright and often messes with the colors in weird and subtle ways. I'll also admit that a lot of it is probably because I'm disgustingly aware of how lighting should work, due to my interest in it, my decently extensive knowledge of art in general, and my work as a spotlight person for our local theater. i will admit that part of my disgust for the game is probably brought about by the fact I don't like playing as most of the swappers, and we only have a handful of swap cores, so most of the skylanders I'm playing as have not been updated with the newer squishy graphics. Sputniks so excited for a Carly Cosmos concert, she tries to hid the fact that shes sick. The indoor crystal areas are so bright it's obnoxious, and if you're playing as someone who's a lighter or similar color, like flashwing, you're going to be squinting the whole time. Team Astroblast puts on a show, and Comet learns a lesson about upstaging his friends. If you're playing as, say, Bash (who shows up as almost black for some reason, instead of his normal chocolaty brown), in a "cave" indoor area, he's incredibly hard to see. I don't mean the fighting bits, I just mean the visibility of your skylander in very bright/dark areas. ![]()
